The holidays have arrived!
Not only do we love this time of year, but we love seeing all of the gorgeous lights and decorations around town. Whether you're just visiting or have lived here for your entire life, there are a few holiday displays that you must see to get you in the holiday spirit!
1. Blumination Dream Trail
November 30, 2019 - March 28, 2020. Dusk to 10pm. You can find the Blumination Dream Trail at Blue Mountain Village. This is an event not to be missed! Spectacular lights. Sensational sounds. A one kilometer winter stroll through the heights of innovation to the edge of your imagination.
2. Barrie's Winter Lights Display
November 16, 2019 - February 29, 2020. A spectacular display of lights to celebrate the winter season, located in downtown Barrie's Heritage Park! Presented by the Rotary Club of Barrie.
3. Thornbury Olde Fashioned Christmas
Saturday, December 14, 2019. Stroll through historic Main Street and see the beautifully decorated windows and shop interiors; have a delicious meal at one of Thornbury's outstanding restaurants; discover why Thornbury is known for it’s warm welcome and special charm! Kick off the holiday season with fun activities and excitement for the whole family.

4. The Toronto Christmas Market
November 14 - December 22, 2019. The Toronto Christmas Market will light up the Distillery District for the tenth year. Come visit vendors selling all your favourite locally handcrafted products so you can find that perfect holiday gift. There will also be entertainment, Santa and his elves, light canopies and of course, heated mulled wine to keep you warm and toasty!
5. Winterfest in Canada's Wonderland
Select Nights November 22 – December 31, 2019. WinterFest activities will bring joy to guests of all ages, including ice skating on Snow Flake Lake in front of the iconic Wonder Mountain, a nightly tree-lighting ceremony, live holiday shows, strolling performers, select family rides, and interactive attractions like cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus, writing letters to Santa at the North Pole Post Office and creating take-home keepsakes at Sally’s Christmas Crafts.
