Why You Should Give Your Heart To Rotary
Every town has service clubs that do good work but for me at least, it never really registered on my radar until I experienced the value first hand.
I chair a wonderful group that organizes a free Christmas Day dinner every year in Collingwood. From day one, the Rotary Club of South Georgian Bay has been a champion and supporter in every way which truthfully, made the event possible for the last four years. It benefits so many people in our town very directly from the 150 or so guests to the 100 volunteers who have a better Christmas because of it. In other words, every dollar from Rotary spreads far and wide.
Rotarians are selfless and passionate volunteers and, raising funds is never easy. Please take the time to consider helping them on Valentines Day by supporting their radiothon. Request a special song for your sweetie or someone special at the same time and spread the love.
