Georgian Gate’s OPA and Zoning Bylaw Amendment Adopted
Georgian Gate is a proposed development in The Blue Mountains consisting of 609 detached and semi-detached dwelling units. The municipality has issued Notices of Adoption of an Official Plan Amendment and a Zoning By-law Amendment with respect to the subject lands, shown on the map in the shaded area.
The Official Plan Amendment is being forwarded to the County of Grey for approval.
According to the notice, “The purpose of Official Plan Amendment No. 27 is to provide a land use framework for a residential community containing 609 dwelling units comprised of single detached residential dwellings and semi-detached residential dwellings on the subject lands.”
The zoning amendment rezones “the subject lands from the Deferred Development DD and Hazard H Zones to the Residential R1-232-h, Hazard H, Public Open Space OS1, Private Open Space OS2-232-h and Development D Zones.”
