200 Posts And Still More Opinions!
Most of my friends tell me that I talk a lot and that I’m opinionated. They are right of course. When I think about it, I wrote columns for local magazines and newspapers going back almost 20 years ago. In one paper, they advertised my column by saying “Always Opinionated.” “Always Passionate.” I’d like to think that’s more endearing than obnoxious. I hope so.
It follows then that a blog was a natural evolution for me. I do have lots to say about many things and amazingly, this is already my 200th blog post since I started this site on May 21st, 2007.
When I started writing, I gave it 18 months to see if it was something I would commit to, enjoy and see results from. Well the fact that more than a year has gone by tells you the answer. I’ve learned so much (and have way more to learn) but better still, I’ve made new connections with so many people. Other agents, visitors, new clients¦ guest posts, funny stories and research. All of these have made me better as a REALTOR® and better as a citizen of my community. I am blown away that so many people subscribe to my blog and that over 1,000 different people are now reading it each month. Those numbers make it a little scary sometimes to say what I think but in the end, hey, I’m opinionated and out it will come.
So thanks everyone for letting me share some of my opinions and passions every week. It’s been great and beware, I have A LOT more to say yet.
