Collingwood, Blue Mountain and Area Real Estate Recap for July 2019
There were 217 residential sales posted versus 185 in June and, 36.5% more than in July 2018. This comes close to the record set this year in May when there were 220 sales.
The number of listings dropped to 340 compared to 408 in June and, currently, the total number of active residential listings in our region sits at 858; down only slightly from this time last year. This represents 4.2 months of inventory available and is unchanged from last month.
Our region includes six key areas including Clearview Township, Blue Mountain, Collingwood, Grey Highlands, Meaford and Wasaga Beach. Since everyone always wonders about pricing, I can tell you that the lowest average sale price year-to-date is in Wasaga Beach at $453,643 and the highest average residential price is in the Town of Blue Mountain at $696,204.
