October 2019 Real Estate Market Recap for Collingwood, Blue Mountain and area
The fall market continued its strong upward motion in October. Sales were up again while supply tightened somewhat with just 3.4 months of inventory. The 12-month average residential sale price in the region is currently $544,744.
Home sales in the Western Region of Southern Georgian Bay, which includes Wasaga Beach, Clearview Township, Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, the Municipality of Meaford, and Grey Highlands, numbered 208 units in October 2019. This was a 15% jump from October 2018. On a year-to-date basis, there were 1764 home sales in these areas over the first ten months of the year, an increase of 11.2% from the same period in 2018.
