“Only go here if you love good food, beer and a great relaxed place. First time here with my wife and can’t say enough about the incredibly friendly and hard working staff and the best food we’ve had in a long time, hats off to the Chef and cooks they are cooking some of the best food the country. Their beer is also great with a huge selection and our server made some great recommendations for a beer lover, which can be hard at times. Can’t wait to go back, worth the 2hr drive from where we live.” ItsAMikey

“Great fish and fries….take out or eat in!!!! Not a lot of space to eat in so don’t plan to go with a large group. You can even take along your non-fish lovers as there are a couple of items on the menu for them. There is a variety of fish to choose from and the fries are very good! We have eaten in and taken out and enjoyed both. When you call to place your take out order the time given to you is right on! If they say ready in 15 minutes it is. Staff are pleasant to deal with even when it is crazy busy. It is our go to place when we are craving great fish and fries.”  DaphneM

“My Family ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers) discovered this place accidentally while shopping at Loblaw across the street – a great find.

For dinner we started with the tortillas with salsa and guacamole; very good. We ordered 3 differed tacos – baja fish, bent fried chicken and chicken tinga. All were very good and filling. Good selection of beer on tap including some local craft beer. Good service and a hip atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time in Collingwood.”  Davendee

Where we were seated we had a view of the pizza prep area. The guy working there was constantly washing his hands while preparing food and the pizza is super delish…will definitely repeat.”  154996Hanna

Beaver and Bulldog Sports Pub and Wingery   beaverandbulldogcollingwood.com
195 First Street   phone: 705-446-9711

British and North American pub fare, gluten free options

“While he is only 10 – my second son considers himself quite the wing man and after his first bite into his pound of honey garlic wings on Saturday night he proclaimed how amazing they were. I had to agree. The wings here are what the pub is known for and they definitely live up to their reputation! The wings themselves are so meaty and the sauces are incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive. Upon arrival the lineup was out the door – but definitely worth the wait! We will most certainly be back the next time we are in Collingwood.”  4kids2dogsandahubby

Trattoria Azzurra     http://www.azzurra.ca/
100 Pine Street   phone: 705-445-7771

Italian cuisine, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options

“4 of us went for dinner to Azzura Trattoria & thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing, the staff were welcoming & answered all our questions. One of our friends is gluten intolerant & they were able to accommodate his needs. From the appetizers right through to dessert, the food was delicious. The only issue was that some of the gluten free pasta was a bit undercooked. Meals are a bit on the pricier side, but worth it.”  Anonymous TripAdvisor
